**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Manager (Risks and Operations) will be accountable in the following areas:

- Market Operations Accuracy and Availability (24x7 operation, BCP, and DRP)
- Timely Procurement of Ancillary Services Contracts
- Compliance with Market Rules
- Settlements Accuracy, Prudential Monitoring, and Payment Default Handling
- Data Subscription Management and Growth
- Budget Management
- Team Management and Development of Operations staff

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To lead and manage a team of professionals to operate and support the company's routine obligations and its related activities in accordance with the market rules and internal procedural manuals.
- To develop a team of professionals
- To identify and establish mitigating measures to manage the risks associated with market operations to achieve a smooth operation
- To be responsible for the ancillary service contracting obligations under the market rules and electricity license obligations
- To lead new initiatives to improve operational productivity as well as to spearhead initiatives to value add to the market participants
- To manage and actively pursue to grow of the data subscription business of the company via a three-pronged strategy of subscription renewal subscription acquisition and exploration/launch of new products or services so as to achieve the revenue target set for the FY
- To establish and conduct training/briefing for the market participants, international delegates, and interested parties
- To actively liaise with market participants and build good and close working relationships
- To assist the SVP, Markets, and Operations to manage operations cost within agreed budgets and seek ways to grow new business revenue for the Company
- To assist the SVP, Markets, and Operations to report on market operations matters to the Board.
- To perform any task that is assigned by the SVP, Markets, and Operations

**REQUIREMENT**:

- Good honors degree in Engineering or Business
- At least 5 years of working experience in market operations or Risks management, in particular, the energy market or its equivalent
- Good operations acumen, operations readiness, and analytical skills
- Good in business process management
- Good oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills to interface with staff at all levels within an organization
- In-depth knowledge and abilities in identifying and developing business processes compliances to audit
- Good negotiation skills
- Meticulous in work, an inquisitive mind and customer focus
- Good knowledge of Risks management practices/power system and pricing analysis/settlements operations /ancillary services procurement/market information reporting/market modeling/BCP practice/audit process is an advantage.
