Producer (Product Manager/business Analyst)

Marketing and advertising is one of the key drivers to boost up Rakuten business, and your team is responsible for systems contributing to various AD/Marketing activities.

As a product/project manager, are expected maintain close communication with each business unit and help identify and pain points in their businesses. Propose solutions, and bring new solutions to the projects and lead development by leveraging your knowledge and experience in AD/Marketing industries.

You will be working with stakeholders in Singapore, Tokyo and Bangalore. In this distributed circumstance, the team is driving many projects and operations for our AD/Marketing activities. Your day-to-day task will be stakeholder management (located in Japan, Taiwan, India and Singapore), requirement gathering, business & system KPI (Key Performance Indicator) analysis, defining quarterly/yearly development plan, project initiation and entire development process/software life-cycle managements (including process management of technical software design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery and post-release production support).

You will be expected to showcase strong communications skills to your stakeholders (like business and development team including your reporting line) with sense of ownership to products, services, and businesses you are responsible for.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with remote stakeholders to make competitive product by defining roadmaps and execute it as product/project manager
- Assigned to software development projects and/or service enhancements as project manager
- Find out business pain points through day-to-day close communication with business team and propose your solution to solve their issue.
- Be engaged in a whole process of development project (requirement gathering, technical software design, implementation, quality assurances, operation/maintenance notification to stakeholders) as product/project manager
- Work closely with tech lead and other engineering persons to achieve project goals defined by you. Engineering team are located in Japan and India as well. So, you need to streamline communications with distributed team in English
- Capture improvement points based on KPIs and create/execute an improvement plan
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of systems, and propose system improvements aligning with your engineering team
- Guide and support members as a mentor and be a role model to improve team productivity and achieve organizational goals together

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with AD/Marketing industry landscape
- Experience of KPI managements including AD delivery and marketing activity performance evaluations
- Experience of project management in software development
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build a strong working relationship between technical and non-technical people
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members to cultivate good working relationships and achieve goals together
- Strong skills and experience to write spec documents
- Strong skills and experience to develop quality assurance plan and procedures
- Experience of guiding and leading a team

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Work experience with distributed teams
- Familiarity with project/product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence
