We are seeking a talented and experienced Optical Network Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The Optical Network Pre-Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and support during the pre-sales process. This role requires a deep understanding of optical networking technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, identify business opportunities, and develop customized optical networking solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase our optical networking products and solutions to potential clients.
- Assess customer networks and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization using our optical networking solutions.
- Develop comprehensive proposals, technical specifications, and cost estimates for optical networking solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to customize solutions, develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, and address specific customer needs.
- Assist in preparing and delivering technical responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) from potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in optical networking to provide strategic guidance and competitive differentiation.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in optical networking engineering, pre-sales engineering, or a related technical role.
- Good knowledge of optical networking principles, standards, and technologies, including DWDM, SDH, OTN, and fiber optic transmission systems.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and also collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in preparing technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates for optical networking solutions.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Singapore and occasionally internationally as required.
