Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.

**Portfolio Solutions and Risk**

You will help to manage beta exposures, implementing rebalancing flows and transition management. We work closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income, on sector allocation decisions, directing Fixed Income teams on overall portfolio construction, implementing portfolio overlays, and sustainability investing.

You will be part of a team that employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.

**What will you do as a SVP, Portfolio Solutions & Risk?**

We are looking for an experienced investment professional with credit background to join our team with a specialization in the in-business risk management function, focusing on non-public credit sectors of the fixed income market.
- Partner with Fixed Income deal teams by integrating into due diligence and underwriting process to provide deal oversight. Develop independent assessment for non-public deals, and presenting recommendations to Fixed Income’s Alternative Credit Committee to assist them to make appropriate risk/reward decisions and build risk-aware portfolio construction.
- Strengthen our risk management oversight and processes for alternative credit investing. Lead regular portfolio reviews for teams/strategies, stress testing and scenario analysis, combining risk assessment and monitoring across traditional and alternative credit.
- Provide thought leadership in the area of in-business risk management, develop and maintain relationships with key partners within and outside of GIC to review and manage overall portfolio risk.
- Support team’s work in driving portfolio construction, capital allocation, beta implementation and development of FI investment strategies within broader GIC portfolio.

**What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?**
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in credit investing and/or credit research/underwriting with buy-side institutions, rating agencies or investment banking
- Passion in risk management, credit and deal-centric investing, experienced working in/with deal teams and presenting to investment committees
- Market acumen to connect dots between macro and micro developments. Robust knowledge on alternative credit investment products, deal structuring and documentation
- Strong team mindset, collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and develops junior team members.
- Good communication skills and proactive engagement with key internal stakeholders and external partners
