**Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a senior Solutions Manager to join our Asia Portfolio Solutions team and work directly under the Head of Asia Portfolio Solutions who is based in Singapore. You will have a crucial role in establishing and developing the Portfolio Solutions presence in the region with a strong focus on developing business with insurance companies.

**What you’ll do**
- Work with the Head of Asia Portfolio Solutions and Distribution to identify new business opportunities and then design and deliver new products and bespoke solutions for institutional and intermediate markets across the region
- Keep up to date on regulatory changes that will impact the investment needs of insurance companies across the Asia-Pacific region and reflect these on the investment solution design process
- Have continuous dialogue with the London based Insurance Solutions team with the aim of maintaining comprehensive understanding of trends in the insurance space globally that may be of interest to and impact Asian insurers and provide insights from the region that may be of interest to other regions
- In collaboration with London based Insurance Solutions team, design investment solutions for new and changing client solutions leveraging on set of analytical tools and processes that have been designed for clients in other regions
- Develop and extend existing investment analytics and tools to support Asian client requests and needs within relevant governance framework and leverage on work done by other areas of Portfolio Solutions
- Promote Schroders thought leadership to a wide audience including publications, press and conference presentations

**The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need**
- At least 10 years of experience at an asset management organisation, investment consultancy or insurance firm
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory regime and insurance markets in the APAC regions
- Knowledge of capital markets and derivative instruments
- An ability to show initiative, value teamwork, effectively prioritise tasks and juggle competing business requirements
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), presentation and sales skills

**The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That Will Help**
- Knowledge of fund structures, dealing and settlement practicalities.
- Knowledge of legal and investment guideline elements of client agreements and investment management agreements
- Demonstrable coding skills and familiarity with Matlab, Python or equivalent
- Actuarial qualifications are highly desirable but not essential
