Our client is a promising healthtech start-up that utilises the power of AI and innovative technologies to pave new inroads for disease solutions, ultimately improving patient outcomes. They are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of their business.

As a key partner of the business, you will communicate with employees, investors and customers to ensure the company’s technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are most essential in this role. Up to date and well-versed with current technological trends, you are familiar with software engineering and have prior experience handling AI. If this describes you, we’d like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate the Company’s engineering, and technology roadmaps. Develop technical aspects of the Company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and broader technology strategy.
- Translate the strategy into goals and an actionable roadmap with the CEO & COO.
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Knowledge of all functions and roles within IT department
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency, ensuring technologies are used profitably and securely
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use customers’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
- Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources - having a keen knowledge of latest technological advances that could benefit company
- Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure
- Ability to manage large budgets effectively
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Oversee data, security, network and maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, IT, Statistics, AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Analytics, etc.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience beyond the first degree.
- Must have strong skills, knowledge and experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, audio/voice processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc.
- Strong domain knowledge in natural language and feature extraction and feature engineering in the aforementioned domains.
- Strong in data processing and visualising
- Sentiment analysis, text analysis, chat bots etc.
- Good applied statistical knowledge with emphasis in AI-related and business-related statistical distributions, statistical testing, modelling, regression analysis, etc.
