**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**
- Primary responsibilities of covering small and medium cap companies listed on the Singapore exchange. This will include tasks such as developing financial models for forecasting and undertaking financial statement analysis. This includes Thematic industry/sector report in particular in the new economoy verticals.
- Prepare equity research reports that are backed up by industry and company-specific data, as well as insights from industry experts and company management.
- Secondary role is to interpret economic and market trends and conduct weekly presentation of trading and research ideas to internal sales and external clients.
- Keeping abreast with market developments, e.g. new investment ideas etc. that can affect markets across different asset classes.

**Requirements**:

- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- A team player, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
- Able to interact/communicate with internal/external clients with good presentation skills
- Multi-tasker with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and Bloomberg
