**Your role**:

- You will work in the Asian equity research team and will have country responsibilities for the Asian investment product.
- You will be required to analyze, interpret and forecast financial information on companies, industries and countries for the purpose of making investment decisions.
- Your research inputs would include third party research, direct management contact, visits and conference calls.
- You will provide written recommendations on companies (buy, hold and sell) and thematic and directional notes on countries that are under your coverage.
- You will cover 30 to 40 companies closely (written research with financial models
- rated universe) and have a secondary coverage of 20 companies (this is the pool of ideas that could replace some of the names in the current rated universe). Sectors under consideration include Asian Technology and Consumer Discretionary; knowledge in Healthcare would be a added advantage.
- There will be regular interactions with internal teams (both investment and distribution) that would require you to make presentations and justify investment decisions or recommendations.
- You may also be required to meet with banking clients with the Relationship Manager at times.
- This role reports to the Head of Asia Investments and functionally to the Head of Global Research.

**Your profile**:

- Degree qualified with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in an investment analyst role with Asia equity research expertise.
- Strong bottom-up fundamental approach to research.
- Ability and track record of generating feasible investment ideas.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with experienced, cross-functional investment teams.
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
