"I'm responsible for creating and enabling a high-performance culture and world class employee experience at data.ai, and be a trusted advisor to the business in regard to people operations" You will be responsible for and take pride in. data.ai is seeking an experienced and energetic Senior People Operations Generalist to join our People team in our APAC region, reporting to the Senior Global People Operations Manager, based in the SF Bay Area region. - Provide oversight to ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and all international, federal, state, and local employment laws. - Help drive the implementation and adoption of People Operations programs and processes to positively impact the culture and environment. - Contribute and improve process and HR operation efficiencies and maintain and ensure compliance in the APAC region. - Ensure data accuracy and ongoing data management within HR systems and files - Provide updates on employment laws to ensure compliance within the region - Conduct pre-boarding and onboarding of new hires, promoting brand ambassadorship and taking pride in data.ai's culture. - Build relationships with employees and be seen as a trusted advisor on matters relating personnel needs, employee engagement, and compliance. - Provide global support to legal claims, audits, and investigations. - Ensure compliance by sharing valuable HR knowledge within APAC operations - Engage in some Workplace and Employee Recognition activities as needed. **You should recognize yourself in the following**: - BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent 3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist or equivalent. - Strong integrity, approachable, deep willingness to understand our business, exceptional professionalism, proactive, with the ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality - Must speak Mandarin with knowledge of China employment laws and regulations including surrounding countries - Demonstrated team building and project management skills. - Strong organizational skills - Excellent computer skills, specifically with Google and Microsoft Suite experience - Experience with HRIS systems, (Preferred systems: BambooHR, Greenhouse, ADP) - Able to manage workflow, with mínimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities. - Global mobility and immigration experience desired - Ability to maintain focus and keep a strong eye on the details in a sometimes ambiguous and rapidly changing environment - Experience at a technology scale-up is a plus. - Authorization to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship **This is what we have to offer** - Creating space for new initiatives and ideas.
