**The Role**
Directly reporting to the Senior Director of APAC for OpenData, we are looking for a Research Center Manager to join our growing Data Cloud organization. The Research Center Manager will be responsible for the Data Stewardship Supervisors and 100+ remote data steward team members for the data offering in APAC regions.
The Veeva OpenData Research Center Manager is responsible for the overall quality, efficiency, performance, recruitment, and improvement of the direct team processes (including the Data Stewardship team).
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead a team of 5-10 Supervisors (including operations, recruitment, training, and quality teams)
- Built and scaled large remote international teams
- Establish a high-functioning data steward team for the APAC region to deliver on all the team targets (quality, productivity, efficiency)
- Developed structured, scalable systems and processes to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Coach and mentor, the Data Steward Supervisors to improve individual and team performance
- Work with the Product Manager team to understand the product roadmap requirements, and support your team to allocate work and resources to meet project deadlines
- Evaluate Research Centre tools used by the Data Stewardship team
- Develop and run workshops or training programs
- Interpret strategy and implement it across teams at the tactical and operational levels
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of leading and managing high-performance teams
- Strong interest in people management
- Process and result-oriented mindset
- Highly conscientious (organized, analytical, “can do” attitude)
- Strong communication skills, including customer and executive presentations
- Quality Metrics Reporting
- Experience in process improvements to achieve high-quality data products
- Proficiency in Windows, Google apps, MS Office, and other office software
**Nice to Have**
- Process improvement certification/qualifications
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience
