Join us as an FXO Trader
- We are looking to add to our FXO team at NatWest Markets Singapore. You will be working closely with a close-knit global team, based in London and Stamford.
- You will also support the global FXO franchise which includes a mix of Corporate, FI, Real Money and Private Fund names.
- You will develop your vanilla FXO trading skills as well having the opportunity to learn about Exotic and Structured options.

What you’ll do:
As an FXO Trader, you'll be managing risk positions within authorised desk limits and collaborating across centre to deliver hedging strategies that further the bank’s financial goals. You will be market-making FXO to NatWest Markets global client base. You'll also be handling the booking of all trading activities within the relevant systems and providing follow up of trade queries to minimise the risk of errors. Alongside this you will be working closely with key stakeholders to develop a strong FXO offering across traditional voice and electronic venues. Your primary focus will be on vanillas for G10 currencies and there will be opportunities to learn about Exotic and Structured Options as well.

Your top priorities will include:

- Managing spot and volatility positions of our global books in the Singapore time-zone.
- Meeting financial objectives, managing costs as set down by trading heads.
- Collaborating across centres to ensure an understanding of the risk as well as broader market conditions.
- Ensuring that your product area is compliant with dealing authorities, positions, and risk limits, as well as our regulators' rules and regulations.

The skills you'll need:

- Extensive experience of risk managing FX Options.
- A sound understanding of FXO theory.
- Confidence executing in the interbank brokers to hedge down risk where appropriate.
- Electronic trading literacy (although direct electronic trading experience is not required).
- The ability to make timely, informed decisions in a fast paced environment.
