[What the role is]

Assistant Manager, Strategic Communications and Media Relations

[What you will be working on]

You will develop and execute media communication strategies and plans for LTA’s initiatives and policies to maximise publicity outcomes as well as deepen public awareness and understanding of public transport strategies and planning considerations. You will advise and support LTA departments by providing communication guidance in managing media issues, queries and interviews. You will also be working closely with the LTA departments to identify publicity opportunities across all platforms. Finally, you will be involved in the knowledge management project to improve operational efficiencies and facilitate knowledge sharing.

[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in media communication strategies and plans
- At least 1 years’ experience in a media or PR organisation and familiarity in media related work including media relations, monitoring and analysis
- Good awareness of current affairs and interest in land transport issues
- Ability to comprehend and distil complicated policies to explain them to the general public as well as highlight possible public concerns
- Good written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience in knowledge management and digitalisation would be advantageous
- Interest in content creation and social media will be preferred
