The demand planning process encompasses liaising with the commercial organization on requirements to meet business plans and targets, translating market requirements into the demand signal, the balancing and management of inventory and driving the local S&OP processes.

This is a critical role within the SCM organization to support the business’s revenue, profit targets and operations targets.

**The incumbent of this position needs to be a true Change Leader, i.e. must**:

- Challenge the status quo.
- Stimulate the design and implementation of new ideas & approaches to continuously improve processes and increase efficiencies.
- Leverage a deep understanding of customer needs and insights to inform decision making and strengthen overall value to customers.

As a Demand Supply Planner, you will:

- Work with local commercial team and demand planning to derive impact of competitive activity, seasonality, product phase in/out, promos and build consensus forecast during monthly review process.
- Review assumptions in demand plan and analyse impact on forecast data point (timing, incremental volume, cannibalisation rate, initiatives, etc) to improve affiliate’s forecast accuracy and performance delivery.
- Lead monthly regional demand review to support the regional S&OP process.
- Review quarterly finance outlook with affiliates to align 18 months rolling purchase plan forecast.
- Optimise forecasting model and triangulate with inventory level projection (sales/purchase/inventory)
- Conduct historical/futuristic profile to provide insights into future forecast.
- Report and analyse forecast performance metrics to measure forecast accuracy, assess forecast bias, and identify the root cause analysis to forecast variance.
- Develop and implement action plans for improving forecast performance and reducing bias.
- Highlight in market forecast anomalies, showing variances against trend and financial forecast to improvement forecasting process and accuracy.
- Validate MFG service failures (delivery on time metric) attributed to inaccurate demand plan.
- Actively manage the product portfolio, coordinate new product launches and end of life activities for regional launches.
- Reduce risk by communicating clearly with commercial teams by identifying deviations from launch or discontinuation plans.
- Implement projects/tools to drive continuous improvements.
- Contribute progressive planning process improvement plan.
- Be the link between MFG and affiliates to resolve any major supply chain issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in business - preferably in Supply Chain or Operations Management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Forecasting or Sales & Inventory Management.
- Comfortable in handling high number of sku count
- S&OP exposure is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office365 software (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, PBI, SharePoint)
- Strong communication skills and able to work across diverse cultural teams.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $8,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
