As a subsidiary, Lasertec Singapore supports our customers’ needs with maintenance service for the mask inspection machines.

We are currently seeking an Asst. Engineer to join our team.

**In this role, your responsibilities are to**:

- Provide technical support to customers either on-site or remotely.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines at customer site.
- Install new test machines and software upgrades.
- Work on projects such as creating manuals/SOPs etc.

**This role requires you to have**:

- A Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or related qualifications.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Words.
- Work experience in a customer support environment.
- Work experience in a semiconductor industry for more than 1 year.
- Knowledge in laser, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, other instruments.
- Proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with counterparts in Japan during weekly meetings, training sessions or troubleshooting instances.

- Has strong interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to travel overseas frequently and on short notice.
- Flexible to work overtime or on selected weekends and public holidays, if required.
- Self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge needed for the job.
