Provide legal and compliance services to the Bank, covering its entire range of activities, with focus on managing changes of laws and regulations from identification of the change to implementation.
- Advising internal stakeholders on Singapore regulatory compliance matters including disclaimers and licensing/registration issues
- Monitoring for and advising the Bank on changes and developments in laws and regulations affecting the Bank, advising and following up on implementation issues including identifying the gaps between existing procedures and the changes to law and working with relevant depts to ensure the changes are implemented on time
- Perfoming follow up reviews to ensure compliance
- Assisting team lead to manage implementation time lines and milestones and monitoring for timely resolution of obstacles and issues
- Keeping internal stakeholders developments and trends relating to compliance matters
- Performing other compliance work such as advising on cross border marketing permissibility, advertising and presentation materials, conducting training and upkeep of compliance policies
- Such other matters as assigned by Dept head or Team Lead
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Law preferred
- Strong working knowledge of r egulatory requirements and recent developments relating to corporate compliance
- Strong working knowledge of Banking Act and MAS Notices for Banks
- Prior experience in managing changes in laws and regulations from identification of changes to implementation
- Working knowledge of SFA/FAA is a plus
- Meticulous, with good analytical and problem solving skills
- Prior change management experience is a plus
- Hands on, practical and with a balanced mindset
- Team player
- Able to work under pressure
