**Job Description
Faced with ever-increasing threats to IT security, organizations need to maintain a vigilant approach to protect their systems and data, and a Security Lead plays a key role in this process. Red Sentry is hiring a Security Lead to manage the Services team, and are responsible for a number of functions associated with IT security - from conducting reviews of software security, through to updating information security policies.

Duties and responsibilities of the job

A Security Lead job description should include the following responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the team of Cyber Security Consultant (Services) Team
- Be a mentor and guide and impart skills and knowledge with the team members
- Identify and explore new cyber security solution offerings
- Be part of a team to evaluate new Cyber Security Solutions in the market
- Lead the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance security management systems for clients
- Work with the sales leads to exploit opportunities and position an appropriate solution after due evaluation
- Conduct information security management reviews and information security management system (ISMS) assessments for clients
- Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned.
- Participate in the creation, review, and update of information security policies for clients
- Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products, and services supplied
- Lead client proposal development and presentation with the follow up of implementation documentation
- Ongoing project management to lead solution architecture and build technical design along with the implementation plan
- Lead overall solutions across different Service Lines (Enterprise Applications, Custom Software development, Cloud, Digital and Analytics) Other ad-hoc assignment as and when assigned by GM or the Management

**Requirements
Holding a degree and having a technical background will be preferred to gain a Security Consultant role. Degrees in Information Technology and Information Security are often preferred.

As well as formal qualifications, a Security Lead must demonstrate the following qualities:

- Experience in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management
- Ability to align information security policies with business requirements
- Flair for translating information security requirements into IT security controls and measures
- Attention to detail
- Enjoy building and growing a team, in a fast-growing environment
- Take real pride in the work you do
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Project management skills and an ability to translate business requirements into technical IT security deliverables
