**The role**:(varies with role)**

This role manages monthly closing operations and ensure internal compliance for GL reporting requirements of the Group entities.

**How you’ll contribute to MyRepublic’s success**
- Responsible for month end closing, ensuring all monthly required accounting entries are passed into the accounting system including intercompany recharges and confirmations
- Assist Group Finance Manager in performing GL reconciliations for balance sheet accounts on a timely basis
- Provide support to Group Finance Manager in areas of statutory compliance and internal/external reporting including tax and audits
- Managing the accounting software for Group matters including maintaining and creating chart of accounts / cost centres
- Implementing improvements to month end procedures and internal controls

**We think you’ll fit in great with us if you have**:

- Experience in GL activities in month end
- Attention to details
- Strong organisation skills and task closure abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in GL related roles or across different finance functions
