DESIGNATION : Senior Assistant Manager / Manager (Graduate Programmes), SOA
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Accountancy.
- Work closely with the Programme Director and oversee the administration and operations of the Graduate Programme.
- Academic Matters
- To be responsible for the administrative management of the Programme.
- To maintain a repository of course outlines, course materials, and student portal.
- To manage course registration, class schedules, and course evaluation.
- To provide classroom support whenever necessary; this may include weekday nights and Saturdays.
- To support faculty members on academic matters including the execution of examination matters.
- To manage and maintain student records, student awards, track certificates, commencement and graduation.
- To manage post-examination documentation and data uploading.
- To handle all queries from faculty members and students.
- Admission
- To work closely with the marketing team.
- External Relations
- To develop and implement strategies to engage and forge partnerships with industry partners or corporations for collaborative initiatives.
- Accreditation & Academic Review
- To provide full support for the School’s accreditation review.
- To provide administrative support for all curriculum review.
- Budgeting and Financial Reporting
- To be responsible for the annual planning and budgeting of the Programme.
- To monitor revenues and expenses.
- To prepare periodic financial reports.
- Students and Alumni
- To build good rapport and to plan and organise activities for students and alumni members; this could include community service and social activities.
- To manage and maintain students/alumni database.
- To liaise with career office for student internships and job placement.
- Others
- To support the School and other postgraduate programmes in key events and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 to 5 years of substantial administrative experience in educational or public service setting.
- Self-motivated with strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills.
- Hardworking and possess excellent organising, multi-tasking, and administrative capabilities.
- Meticulous and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders.
