Singapore HPB Health Promotion Board Full time

HPB drives national efforts in creating awareness about health screening and follow-up to Singaporeans across different age groups, settings and population groups. You will be a part of HPB’s Health Screening Management Division (HSM) that oversees the implementation of the national health screening programme, Screen for Life, which comprises screening for chronic diseases and selected cancers (breast, cervical and colorectal). The division advocates regular health screening and follow-up that’s crucial for early detection and better management of medical conditions, and promotes sustainable uptake of health promotion programmes that are crucial to HPB's strategic goals.

**Scope**

As a member of the **_Health Screening Management _**team, you will be expected to oversee and / or work on various aspects of programme from planning to implementation, stakeholder engagement, IT / data management to quality assurance.

Your key work will be to support quality assurance and improvement of the various screening programmes. This will include but not limited to areas such as planning and executing the audit(s) of the screening programme(s) in compliance with established programme guidelines and framework, and review these guidelines / standards when necessary. You will empower and equip stakeholders with the relevant knowledge on implementing and advancing these QA strategies across the different programmes.

You would also be expected to support the operations for the IT systems enabling the health screening programmes. This will include but is not limited to areas such as providing the business users’ perspective for new enhancements and identifying new areas for workflow improvement, and investigation of technical issues and requests. You will be liaising with external stakeholders and working with IT vendors to perform your role.

In this area of work and related ones, yforge and develop strategic collaborative partnerships with public, private and NGO sectors to champion health screening initiatives and work with HPB to address identified health needs and issues within their sectors. You will co-plan, co-implement and evaluate such strategies and activities with the stakeholders.
- Good analytical, inter-personal, persuasive writing and verbal communication skills and exhibiting strong political sensitivity.
- Ability to multi-task and handle concurrent projects with an eye for details; works well in a fast-paced environment effectively and independently as well as in team-based arrangements
- Adaptable to changes, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated and a strong desire to excel.
- Ability to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, with ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Experience in IT projects as a business user, including implementation of system enhancements or project management will be useful.
