Health Screening Assistant will be required to provide basic clinic parameters and handle administrative duties. Ensure school-based health screening programmes are completed within the set time frame and targets are met. Responsibilities Perform setting up of health screening premises in schools Perform briefing to all students on the various types of health screening and prep them (e.g. give instructions to remove socks/shoes for scoliosis screening or height & weight measurement)Perform vision test/ hearing test/ height and weight taking Checking review list for different level of students screened Collation of team statistic for vision, hearing and height/weight done and update in EN file Ensure all hearing test/ height & weight readings are updated in the system Inventory-in-charge. To monitor team inventory e.g. stationery/ B5 paper/ envelopes and request for top up if necessary Ensure all Health Assessment Summary Reports and/or referral letters are filed in sealed envelopes and tallied with number of screening done by class before returning to school coordinators Ensure all team equipment are packed and movement chart is checked and acknowledged before handling over to dispatch personnel Report to Team Leader on any issues e.g. faulty equipment, comments received from students/ Teachers/ School liaison personnel Other ad hoc duties as assigned in accordance with changes in school-based health screening, immunisation and cardiovascular risk factor assessment programmes in scheduled primary and secondary schools Requirements GCE "O" or "A" Levels Computer literate Ability to multi-task and possess good interpersonal skills Enjoys working with school children Adaptable to travel island wide extensively 9 months renewable contract #J-18808-Ljbffr
