**What the role is**
- Working in the Landfill Management and Operations Department at the Tuas Marine Transfer Station (TMTS) and Semakau Landfill (SL), the job description of an Senior Engineering Executive/ Engineering Executive (SEE/EE) at SL are as follow:
**What you will be working on**
- To supervise resident contractor in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of landfill equipment, vehicles and floating platform and to ensure their high availability to meet operational requirements - To supervise resident contractor in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of M&E equipment which may include water treatment facilities, power generation system or building services/facilities - To review the conditions of landfill or M&E equipment and assist in the preparation and calling of quotations to upgrade, refurbish or replace old or obsolete equipment - Coordinate and supervise contractors in carrying out the work/services on site. Ensuring that all works are carried out safely, properly, according to schedule and do not disrupt landfill or M&E operations. Attend to defects rectification before full completion and acceptance of work done - To assist in coordination /monitoring of NEA or external agencies/parties’ projects or works on SL. Assist to liaise with relevant parties, authorities and agencies during the course of the works - To monitor spare parts stock level, review spare parts requirement for landfill, M&E equipment and building facilities, plan and call quotations for timely replenish of spare parts to meet maintenance needs - To participate /involved in innovation projects such as work improvement team (WIT) project - To perform any other works, duties and responsibilities as assigned
