**Our Client**:
The company we represent is experiencing rapid expansion and focuses on Engineering Construction, Telecommunications, and Investments.

They are currently in search of a WSH Officer to become part of their Singapore-based workforce. As a WSH Officer, you will develop, review, revise, maintain and implement the site Workplace Safety & Health Management system effectively to manage risks and reduce accidents.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Take the lead in managing the site safety team
- Develop, review, revise, and effectively implement the Workplace Safety & Health Management System at the site to proactively manage risks and minimize accidents
- Investigate all work site incidents and execute corrective actions as necessary
- Review and update risk assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of WSH regulations and guidelines
- Enforce safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and related provisions
- Ensure strict adherence to legal requirements and statutory obligations
- Conduct regular workplace safety and health (WSH) inspections, overseeing general safety practices, and conducting audits to ensure on-site staff and subcontractors comply with policies and standards
- Promptly notify relevant stakeholders of any potential risks associated with machinery, equipment, activities, or processes in different departments. Provide recommendations for corrective measures
- Prepare and submit necessary safety documents to clients, main contractors, and the WSH Corporate Department
- Cultivate a strong WSH culture within the company
- Ensure the effectiveness, readiness, and adequacy of the fire protection system and Emergency Response Team management system for both the office and factory
- Promote safe and healthy working conditions through educational initiatives, awareness campaigns, training sessions, drills, competitions, and other relevant activities
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies for WSH-related licenses and permits. Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and Acts. Maintain a deep understanding of waste management regulations, procedures, and licensing requisites
- Deliver fire and safety training to employees
- Provide regular updates to management on WSH performance and the continuous improvement plan
- Collaborate with third-party security service providers to ensure the appropriateness and effectiveness of services offered to the organization

**The Requirements**:

- Registered as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
- Possess over 3 years of experience functioning as a WSHO
- Hold relevant qualifications in Workplace, Safety, Health, or Engineering
- Demonstrate strong technical proficiency, effective interpersonal skills, and excellent communication abilities
- Exhibit the capacity to work independently while remaining result-oriented
