**Office of Associates Management**:
Singapore University of Social Sciences, the leading university of lifelong learning and social good, is seeking a Director to lead and head the Office of Associates Management for the University.
This position will report to the University Registrar. The role will appeal to qualified HR or Organisational Development personnel of at least 12 years of HR leadership experience.
- Develop and manage a team to provide administrative support of all operations, activities and projects related to associates’ engagement and management;
- Provide leadership and oversight of all matters relating to SUSS associate faculty;
- Develop associate hiring strategy and processes to ensure consistency across Schools and appropriate communication among Deans, Heads of Programme, Schools and Central administrative staff;
- Collaborate with Heads of Programmes to update job descriptions of associate faculty within their disciplines and implement a system for regular review and revision to these descriptions;
- Provide on-boarding services and orientation to all new associates and ensure new associates have been adequately inducted both at the university and school/programme level;
- Coordinates with the Teaching & Learning Centre and Schools to ensure associates are trained, coached, and supported according to the SUSS training framework for associates;
- Align with HR and ensure associates’ payments and related statutory benefits are in compliance and made in accordance to statutory requirements;
- Coordinate with Schools and Provost Office and develop retention strategies on associates;
- Develop and maintain Associate Handbook and ensure policies for handling associates are aligned with SUSS HR policy;
- Organise and lead associate engagement event, e.g. Faculty Appreciation Event, Associate Orientation, etc.; and
- Act as the first point of contact for associates-related enquiries and services.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience of at least 12 years of HR/OD leadership experience
- Experience in managing associates/faculty within the education industry would be an advantage
- Well-versed with a strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices
- Strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies in the hiring, onboarding, engagement and retention of SUSS associates
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as to engage, build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in English to articulate well with associates/ faculty staff
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
