Overview:
Daily Sensory Laboratory operations - Support in sample collection, preparation, and panel operation of Raw material, finished product samples in accordance to documented testing methodology.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sensory Laboratory operations - Support in sample collection, preparation, and panel operation of Raw material, finished product samples in accordance to documented testing methodology.
- Responsible for Sensory panel mgmt. include training, capability, and their performance monitoring.
- Ensure all instrumentation used in the testing of products are validated and calibrated to standard.
- Ensure all laboratory records are kept in accordance with the Company's protocol
- Support in Trouble shooting Non-Conformance sample issues with Sensory analyst and Lab supervisor.
- Analyse the data/trend, challenge non-value-added activities to streamline Sensory lab operations.
- Compile and report relevant KPI's monthly to Sensory analyst and Lab supervisor.
- Control sample and Liquids retain sample management (packing, storage, retrieving)
- Manage purchase of chemicals and consumables relevant to Lab operations.
- Adhere to PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements.
- Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by Lab supervisor.

Qualifications:
**1. **Education or Professional Certifications **_(minimum level required e.g. Bachelors degree, Diploma and/or certifications)_- Computer literate

**1. **Experience **_(number of years of directly related operational or leadership experience and to specific industry if need be)_
- At least 3 years work experience in a relevant field.

**1. **Knowledge and job skills **_(technical know-how or professional knowledge and job skills required by this post)_
- System and operational knowledge - Sensory lab work Experience, SAP, LIMS systems and troubleshooting experience is an added advantage.
- An understanding of GMP/GLP and other key manufacturing processes
