**Responsibilities**:

- Led the technical delivery of core banking projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, software architects, developers, and testers to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring alignment with best practices, industry standards, and architectural principles.
- Design and implement core banking solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable, while also catering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies in project execution and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with vendor partners and third-party providers to integrate their solutions into the core banking ecosystem effectively.
- Lead code reviews, and technical design discussions, and ensure that development processes are followed rigorously.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage deployment pipelines, automate processes, and optimize system performance.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to existing processes, methodologies, and technologies.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team, encouraging innovation and professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in core banking systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in leading the technical delivery of core banking projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of core banking systems, including account management, transaction processing, payments, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or similar, and experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Solid grasp of software architecture principles, microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward overcoming challenges.
- Knowledge of security protocols, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards relevant to the financial industry.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining a focus on quality and results.
