**Business Overview**: **Job Purpose**: Oversee logistics functions and any 3PL activities for MPS Singapore, ensuring efficient and cost-effective ways are employed to import, export and store inventory. **Responsibilities**: - Lead the logistics function for MPS Singapore, which includes import and export, land, sea and air freight, and third-party storage, in Singapore and SEA countries like Thailand and Philippines. - Facilitate and provide guidance to logistics team on any shipment issues, and work with logistics service providers to identify solutions. This includes setting up SOPs, WI for the logistics team. - Work closely with internal Supply Chain team to optimize material flow for shipment, and planning of shipments to optimize the space available for stuffing and unstuffing of goods. - Manage freight forwarders and other third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery, competitive pricing and services. - Where required, work with internal Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams to resolve issues or provide ad-hoc documents/ information needed by freight forwarder or customs. - Manage freight costs and external warehouse storage costs. This includes invoice reviews from logistics and warehouse providers, and leading projects to reduce costs and optimize storage or warehouse utilization. - Management of external warehouses, including local and overseas warehouses, for competitive sourcing, negotiation of contractual rates and terms, and contract renewal. - Check and verify freight invoices based on prices quoted and ensuring full set of documents are received for payment and audit purposes. - Build a repository for HS Codes for products and raw materials. - Responsible for logistics KPI, including cost budgeting and monthly reporting, providing analysis on cost excursions in spent if any, provide improvement actions to reduce freight costs. - Work with Quality Assurance on customer complaints related to logistics. - Work with internal global logistics team on global alignment, and facilitate any global implementation on improvements related to logistics and warehousing. - Provide support to auditors, including driving improvement actions to closure for any findings. - Any adhoc projects as assigned. **Requirements & Qualifications**: - Meticulous & detailed, ability to analyse and troubleshoot when needed. - Good interpersonal & communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Continually seeking to improve - Bachelor's degree (B.
