**About this role**
The role is responsible in driving and implementing best practice commercial approaches and tools in winning, setting up and delivering projects. You will also be responsible in assisting the Group Commercial Leader in monitoring and maintaining the overall commercial performance of the Group.

**What will I do?**
- Monitor, report group and project level commercial performance, involve in commercial training and lead PM/PD accreditation
- Lead monthly cycle of invoicing, cash collection, forecasting, reporting and review
- Assist with contract negotiation, contract management and claims development
- Financial planning including contribution to annual Business Plan development and update
- Supporting the Commercial Operations Group including monthly action-based meetings focused on developing younger members and distributing commercial management responsibilities

**What will I bring?**
- Degree qualified and professional member of relevant profession (either engineering, quantity surveying or commercial/finance) with at least 3 to 5 relevant years of experience in Commercial Management / Performance and Management Accounts
- Proven commercial experience in Consulting or Construction organisation on large/complex D&Cs in the buildings and/or infrastructure market preferred but not essential.
- Have good analytical and reasoning skills and proven ability to develop solutions to complex problems
- Good understanding of legal, contract management and project management principles and commercial management approaches, methodology, techniques, and systems
- Highly effective communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills - internally and with clients.
