We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a** **Director, WPB SG Head of Digital and Innovation.**

**Role Purpose**

With a focus on innovation and customer-centricity, the Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) Digital and Innovation Team is dedicated to supporting HSBC’s growth ambitions through strategic digital and technology investments across WPB’s lines of business (retail banking, wealth management, insurance, and asset management).

Position Overview: We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Head of Digital and Innovation to lead WPB’s digital transformation in Singapore. This pivotal role will drive our digital strategy across all lines of business. As the Head of Digital and Innovation, you will be accountable for digital portfolio management, delivery and commercialization of market leading digital capabilities, digital sales management and optimization, and transaction migration from physical to digital channels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the delivery of digital and technology capabilities to support WPB Singapore’s revenue plan, customer experience and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Global delivery teams, Technology and Functional teams to deliver digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
- Manage the overall WPB Singapore digital technology investment portfolio, re-balancing to ensure resources are being spent effectively, delivering committed deliverables to support the country financial plan, as well as regulatory development requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective reporting mechanisms to communicate the status of the digital portfolio, highlighting risks, issues, dependencies, etc. and escalating as required.
- Intervene as required to ensure projects are delivered effectively on time and within budget, addressing risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Make trade-off decisions with product owners based on immediate business needs while also delivering the long-term business strategy, understanding the importance of agility and adaptability in an extremely dynamic market.
- In conjunction with Technology, ensure digital projects lead to a sustainable technology architecture that supports scalability, security, and innovation.
- Commercialize features developed, working closely with product management and marketing teams to bring digital products to market effectively, drive revenue and customer growth.
- Ensure that all digital initiatives and investments deliver measurable ROI and contribute to WPB Singapore’s overall business objectives.
- Lead digital sales performance management, driving volume, maximizing conversion rates, and minimizing leakage. Grow digital share of sales in line with financial and customer acquisition plans.
- Implement strategies to re-target and engage customers throughout their digital journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring subsequent digital sales performance meets business case expectations.
- Drive initiatives to increase mobile adoption and usage among customers, leveraging insights to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Lead the migration of transactions from physical to digital channels, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
