Job Description

Events Specialist (Client Solutions Specialist) - OMDIA

Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

Project delivery
- Develops strong knowledge of relevant industry markers
- Project manages the Bespoke events from start to finish including venue sourcing, client calls, outreach to VIP guests, delivery onsite at events and post event reporting
- Manages targeted outreach to Tech Industry Leaders to achieve audience acquisition targets
- Works closely with the Conference Production, Marketing and Operations Teams
- Manages communications and developing relationships with existing and new accounts

Bid Management
- Bid management - supports the proposal and bid stages of simple types of custom projects
- Where necessary, manages third party sub-contractors

Business development
- Contributes to the ongoing development of a compelling consulting proposition that builds on Informa Tech’s reputation as a “industry thought leader”.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience with Events logistics and business development.
- Experience of working with senior internal management in budget and objective setting for custom research practice
- Ability to work with many stakeholders
- Experience of working closely with sales teams and training them in consulting sales
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- High-quality problem-solving skills and proficient in handling complex briefs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
