Looking for DCS Engineer with cloud architecture and VMware experience

1. Validation & Monitoring
- Hands on experience to support virtualization platform such as VMWare vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Monitor VM Health & Performance: Ensure that all VMs are running smoothly in the new Alternate hypervisor environment, including monitoring CPU, memory, disk usage, and network performance.
- Familiar with virtualization technology like vMotion, DRS, HA and VM snapshots

2.Familiar with Guest OS Redhat and Windows servers
- Understand network knowledge in virtualized environment
- Troubleshooting and Incident Management

3.Experience in supporting VM migration and firmware patching

Case Support: Log case with respective vendors and follow up actions including logs upload.

4.Experience in virtualization monitoring and troubleshooting
- Diagnose Issues: Investigate and resolve any performance or compatibility issues that arise post-migration.
- Able to work with respective stakeholder for collaboration and support

Resolve Migration Failures: Handle any errors or failures that may have occurred during the migration process.

5.Experience in incident/problem management and change management

Incident Management: Provide support for any critical incidents or disruptions, ensuring a rapid response and resolution.

6. System Optimization and Tuning
- VM Performance Tuning: Working closely with DBS engineering team to optimize the VMs in the new environment by adjusting configurations for optimal performance in Alternate hypervisor
- Automate Tasks: Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as performance monitoring, backup monitoring, and resource utilization monitoring

7. Security and Compliance Management
- Security Configurations: Review that all security configurations are correctly applied post-migration, including firewalls, access control, and encryption.
- Compliance Checks: Review VM that migrated to the new environment meets relevant regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements:
1) Degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science

2) 10 Years of Related Experience and knowledge in DC environments, with some time spent on VMware and Cloud Architecture.

3) Willing to work night hours, during project migrations etc.
