**Head (Corporate Strategy), CDA PO (2-year contract)**
The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore’s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. The CDA PO’s role is to plan and execute the setup of the CDA, which will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board.
The Head (Corporate Strategy) will support CDAPO in the short and longer-term development of the strategic direction for CDA. The job holder will lead and oversee the masterplanning, architecting and strategising for the CDA’s work in the initial years and beyond, so as to achieve CDA’s mission. This will also include planning for future capabilities and resourcing by implementing an optimal resource framework and also project resource sustainability in the short to longer term. This role also spearheads the development of strategic priorities to meet the Agency’s objectives.
The Head (Corporate Strategy) will also undertake the planning and implementation of the Board Secretary duties and roles to drive Board agendas, administer Board submissions, and keep track of all Board matters.
- At least 10 years of relevant corporate strategy development and implementation experience in big organizations such as government sectors, public healthcare or MNCs
- Comfortable with working in matrix reporting organizations
- Systematic, resourceful and having a broad perspective
- Strong conceptual, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and interpersonal skills
