**Senior / Risk Analyst**

**Finance Division / Risk & Treasury Section**

**Reports to: Senior Manager**

The risk analyst is responsible for independent risk control and analysis. This is a control function that focuses primarily on the aspects of Operational Risks, Credit Risks and Market Risks.
The risk analyst will be expected to work closely with the risk owners (e.g. Retail and Trading & Portfolio Management teams) to understand and support their business and strategies.

**Your Role**:
**1. Market Risks**
- Calculate Mark-To-Market valuations daily using updated FX, Oil and Interest Rates forward curves, and interpolating where required.
- Prepare daily Counterparty and Market Exposure Reports and flag out all policy exceptions promptly.
- Evaluate portfolio to understand and communicate the drivers of daily Mark-To-Market changes and hedging profit & loss.

**2. Operational Risks**:

- Validate all trade recaps against Counterparty confirmations independently.
- Resolve discrepancies with Counterparties and follow up on all outstanding documents.
- Verify and reconcile all trade volumes and details in the Trade Management System.
- Verify all gas and EMC invoices independently.
- Perform month-end closing procedures as part of Finance’s requirements.

**3. Credit Risks**:

- Prepare swap settlements on a monthly or ad hoc basis for processing by A/R or A/P Team.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of Retail customers and Counterparties.

**4. Others**:

- Drive process change and provide support for enhancing the Risk Reporting tools and workflows.

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelors’ Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
- Minimum 0-5 years of relevant working experience
- Risk related experience and/or qualifications preferred
- Comfortable with Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good teamwork with pleasant personality
- Creative in resolving issues
- Highly driven, numerical and meticulous with good sense for details
- High level of verbal and written English
