**Global Markets - Assistant Vice President**
**Singapore**

As a Barclays Global Markets - Assistant Vice President, you will be a part of the Trade Capture Utility team who sits within the Markets function and provides coverage of risk management, strategic business planning exercises and participation in key projects. You will work closely with the regional and global COOs, Business Heads, and their teams, we drive and manage T0 risk, change and development of the business, working in conjunction with the trading, sales, and infrastructure teams.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. **What will you be doing?**
- Trading Capture related functions including but not limited to: Trade Capture Assistance, Allocations, Trade Amendments, Queries investigation and Client servicing
- Ensuring suitable control processes around trade booking, verification and reconciliation and that the control environment of TCU matches the ambition of the Front Office
- Supporting existing business in a scalable fashion
- Working closely with Sales, Trading, IB Middle Office and other stakeholders across the globe on a daily basis to resolve issues
- Assisting with implementing agreed initiatives, seeking innovative solutions to challenges faced and supporting from the wider franchise where necessary

**What we’re looking for**:

- Preference five years’ experience in financial industry, ideally in Structured products with knowledge in Credit or Rates
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and is comfortable communicating directly with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Organized with superior attention to detail

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Team player
- Ability to develop relationships with both internal and external clients to understand and address their needs
- Eagerness to take initiative and promote process improvements
- Experience in Microsoft Office technologies including Excel and VBA
