- Key Responsibilities:

- In this role, you will learn to execute voyages and contribute to the efficient and safe operation of vessels.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising and partnering with chartering, ship management, shipboard staff, customers, and external vendors such as port agents, terminals, and related authorities.
- Gaining a deep understanding of charter party terms to optimize financial returns within the specified parameters.
- Evaluating port agents and nominating them appropriately to meet the requirements of each voyage.
- Providing timely and clear voyage instructions to the vessels, maintaining regular communication with clients, agents, and stevedores.
- Managing the preparation of cargo documents and ensuring their accuracy.
- Regularly updating charterers on voyage operations, keeping them informed of any relevant developments.
- Maintaining up-to-date vessel status within IMOS, issuing invoices, preparing laytime and detention calculations, rebilling owners' expenses, and updating voyage costs in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Legal team with claims as required.
