**Responsibilities**

As a Researcher working within the FX/Rates Strategy team in Singapore, you will be responsible for:

- Providing cross-asset investment strategy research - Analysing and researching macro-economic and technical aspects of global FX, rates and equity markets
- Model positioning of markets, such as CTAs, in both the fixed income and equity space
- Manage physical and virtual meetings with Nomura’s clients to discuss investment strategies
- Engage and communicate with external Asia, including Japanese clients
- Formulate and discuss market trends and trading opportunities with internal clients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 7 years’ of macro research experience, within FX/Rates markets
- Minimum 5 years’ of macro strategy experience within the Japanese market
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in cross-asset investment strategy across the Japanese market
- Knowledge and analytical skills in modelling positioning of markets, in both fixed income and equity
- Experience in engaging with external Asian clients, including Japanese clients
- Hold a qualification in Finance or Engineering.
