**Your role**
- Are you skilled in Cyber Security? Do you have experience leading highly technical cyber defenders to protect the enterprise against cyber-attacks? Do you have the right attitude and are eager to lead a newly established Cyber Security Operations Center team? You will operate in a fast-moving environment and will manage complex and challenging operational cyber-security issues, under pressure and constrained timelines. As an experienced leader and cyber security professional, we will call upon your creativity and innovation, in additional to your operational and technical expertise, to drive agile transformation and operational excellence globally. We will seek a fine balance of technical and management/leadership skills, operating comfortably in evolving situations under cyber-attack. As a strong advocate for advancing the security posture of UBS, you will have the ability to exercise significant positive impact in the organization.
- We are looking for a Regional Head of Security Operations who will:
- lead operations team in continuous detection and monitoring managing day-to-day operations coordinate analysis and response to cyber alerts through highly effective collaboration with business and key stakeholders
- Lead, inspire and encourage a team of cyber security specialists to maximize their capabilities to the fullest potential
- Identify, establish and leverage synergies between CSOC and other organizations by strongly advancing a one-team mindset
- process actionable and strategic Cyber Intelligence (IOCs, TTPs, RFIs, External Reports) and coordinate follow up actions with key operational stakeholders
- provide overview and summary around cyber threat landscape posture for key stakeholders and other operational teams
- act as key liaison between Cyber Monitoring and wider CISO organization
- serve as key stakeholder in tuning and improvement initiatives of detection and mitigation capabilities and overall service maturity
- drive teams to conduct high quality detection, monitoring, incident response process, drive timely remediation and communicate with internal and external collaborators during incidents.
- drive continuous improvements through the creation of new processes and the enhancement of existing ones
- provide suggestions and recommendations for Detection Content Enhancement engineers on possible improvements or new detection capabilities
- collaborate with different Cyber Defense teams to ensure onboarding and/or integrations are achieving security detection, security automation, and monitoring outcomes

**Your team**
- You'll be leading a regional Cyber Security Operations Center team which is a backbone for a wider follow the sun 24x7 Cyber Operations function. You will be exposed to a peer function and will support Threat Response, Proactive Hunting, Advanced Analytics and Detection Content Enhancement Teams. We are global team with the presence in Switzerland, USA and Singapore focusing on pro-active defense capability supported by active intelligence consumption.

**Your expertise**
- leadership experience working in Technical Operational Teams
- highly Experienced and expert understanding of IT Security practices and Cyber Threat Landscape trends
- proven experience with security processes and standard operating procedures of global organizations preferrably in the financial sector including creation, maintenance, and enhancement of standard operational procedures (SOPs), incident and problem management, and change requests
- proven ability to build a high performing team of security operators, with past extensive hands-on experience as a SOC analyst an advantage
- experience with a wide variety of industry leading technologies and capabilities normally present in enterprise networks
- possession of at least one of the industry recognized cyber security certifications (CISM, CEH, CISSP, SANS GIAC) would be a big plus
