Regional Security Operations Manager

Your role : We're looking for an Regional Security Operations Manager to: manage and coordinate the corporate security program within the region in line with UBS Security policy to address a variety of issues including physical security, training, regulatory compliance and fraud, ensuring that the program meets appropriate organizational policies manage end‐to‐end Executive Protection (EP) program for UBS staff travel to high risk level - 1 countries within APAC, with support from empaneled EP vendors coordinate response for internal & external audits across APAC, relevant to security operations, including requests for evidence relevant to access control, CCTV, etc. coordinate with Regional Security Managers (RSM's) APAC and implement budgeting and resource management develop and manage all security related training programs for the region coordinate with the Regional Security teams and produce dashboards and reports for leadership. work with the Regional Security teams to create programs for monitoring risks, training, and addressing issues as needed Specific responsibilities include: supervision and oversight of security audits, vulnerability tests, inspections and surveys across the range of UBS leased offices, external sites (document destruction / archiving sites, tape storage sites), COLOs, Data Centers and UBS empaneled hotels manage the regional security budgets, forecast CAPEX & OPEX in line with proposed security projects and expanded scope of security operations in APAC be responsible for UBS internal risk tools, manage, monitor, provide training and remediation solutions for risk mitigation coordinate with the Regional Security teams on supervision and oversight of the risk categorization of UBS buildings as per the UBS building security categorization and internal areas, and in identifying the security requirements for such buildings. ensuring staff awareness of UBS security procedures as per prevailing threats and collaborating with corporate communications for timely dissemination to all APAC staff coordinate with the Regional Security teams on supervision, oversight and continuous development of training to ensure that reception/ switchboard staff are familiar with the actions to take on receipt of a bomb threat or other security related incident. understanding the geopolitical aspects for various countries in APAC and communicating effectively with various collaborators maintain of counter‐terrorist security alert measures including written plans coordinate with the Regional Security teams on supervision, oversight and continuous development of mail room staff training across APAC to ensure that personnel responsible for handling mail have adequate instructions on identifying suspect packages and clear guidelines on the action to take should such a package be identified ensure compliance with applicable country specific laws, statutory and regulatory standards Your team: Regional Security Operations Management Asia Pacific delivers a full‐service physical, personnel, crime and reputational risk mitigation program across 13 country locations in the Asia Pacific Region. Program reach encompasses all internal UBS business divisions and other internal stakeholders. The Regional Security Operations Manager is a key member of a specialist team and will report directly to the Regional Head of Security Asia Pacific. In addition to functional expertise across a broad range of corporate security management activities, they will also be experienced business manager with people development, financial and risk management skills. Your expertise: previous experience of at least 8‐10 years in enterprise security management framework not limited to physical security operations and administration, risk management processes and procedures etc. good understanding of what it takes to provide security risk management advice within a global organization knowledge of travel security risks and possession of travel management skills Master of Business Administration and/or recognized degree in security risk management would be preferred knowledge and experience in the financial sector and regulatory environment preferred. knowledge and experience in training and related material creation self‐motivated security specialist, with a reputation for getting projects done within stipulated timelines a good team player, who believes in collaboration, who seeks strength in diversity, thinks out of the box, is self‐motivated a security specialist is a quick learner and is open keeping up the learning curve #J-18808-Ljbffr
