**Job Overview**:*

**Responsibilities**:*

1. *CAD Drafting:*
- Develop detailed CAD drawings for audio visual system layouts, including equipment placement, wiring diagrams, and infrastructure requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
- Revise drawings as needed based on feedback and project requirements.

2. *3D Modeling:*
- Create realistic 3D models of audio visual systems using specialized software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Incorporate components such as projectors, screens, speakers, control panels, and furniture into 3D models.
- Generate rendered images and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Optimize 3D models for efficiency and compatibility with design software and hardware.

3. *Documentation and Coordination:*
- Prepare documentation packages including drawings, specifications, and material lists for project bidding and implementation.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment of design intent and construction requirements.
- Review shop drawings and submittals from suppliers to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Assist in on-site inspections and provide support during installation and commissioning phases.

4. *Continuous Improvement:*
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to audio visual systems and CAD drafting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter in the audio visual or related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max).
- Strong understanding of audio visual equipment, systems integration, and technical specifications.
- Certification in CAD drafting or related areas is a plus.
