We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Vice President, Business Continuity and Incident Management.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM) controls are designed to reduce the impact and severity of any disruption associated with the loss or unavailability of people, systems, premises and third parties or any other incident where there is customer, regulatory, reputational and/or financial impact
- As Business Continuity and Incident Manager, the role holder supports the Head of BCIM, Singapore who is responsible for the management of the BCP Programme, preparation for and effective management of business continuity incidents impacting the Singapore business. The role holder must have expertise and experience across this portfolio
- Working with the wider global and regional BCIM teams, and the local COO and Head of Corporate Services, the job holder ensures risk controls are managed to agreed standards, supports the departments and nominated individuals accountable for delivering BCM within their businesses/functions and supports engagement with relevant regulators and other relevant agencies as required
- The role holder will support the delivery of an effective Business Continuity and Incident Management programme to all Global Business and Functions. The role holder will collaborate and foster exchange with other HSBC entities (e.g. HBSP / INSP / AMSG / HASE / GSC / HTC etc.) in Singapore as necessary and conducive to the overall management of BCIM
- BCIM is part of the Corporate Services (CS) function, which forms part of the Bank’s HSBC Digital Business Services structure (DBS) reporting into the Group COO and locally into the Country COO
Requirements
- Experience in risk or control management
- Knowledgeable in Business Continuity and Incident Management Programmes.
- Has experience in supporting the response to major incidents and delivering business continuity training
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements related to Business Continuity and Incident Management
- Professional certification in Business Continuity a significant advantage
- Ability to translate global, regional and local priorities to direct local activities
- Ability to prioritise activities to meet delivery deadlines and objectives in the near and longer term
- Balance multiple competing demands to find the best solutions
- Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience of working in highly regulated and complex international organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative thinking
- High ethical standards
