Identify requirements/functionality part of Project Charter
- Design components and assemblies following design standards and perform all design/safety calculations
- Collaborate with simulations team (FEA/CFD) to model the tool performance
- Lead design reviews at the different stages of the project
- Persistence during designing an experiment, assembling equipment, conducting tests, and transforming data into information.
- An understanding of mechanical or electrical design as well as an understanding of how to build and test prototypes.
- Collaborate with Testing department to assemble, validate through high-pressure, high-temperature testing, disassemble and inspect the equipment
- Develops test procedures, conduct tests and completes test result analysis for assigned projects.
- Assists in planning and conducting tests on materials, components, subassemblies, and tools. Acquires working knowledge of test procedures and techniques with new Standards.

**Required Skills**:

- Undergraduate / Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Oil and Gas Industry experience is preferred
- An understanding of mechanical or electrical design as well as an understanding of how to build and test prototypes.
- A broad knowledge of technology and engineering and can integrate concepts from disparate domains.
- An ability for clear and vivid communication in writing and presentations.
- A familiarity of modeling would be welcome, especially in MATLAB, SPICE, Maxwell, FEA/CFD, or equivalent.
