**Vice President, ASEAN FX Analyst Strategist**

**Global Markets Division for Asia, Global Markets Research Desk (AGMD-GMR)**

**Job responsibilities**:

- Produce regular monthly, weekly and daily FX/economic reports. Write ad-hoc commentary on economic data, policies, events and FX movements of the ASEAN countries.
- Produce in depth and thematic research on FX and macro of ASEAN economies, contribute to regional and global research pipelines, and participate research initiatives that may arise from time to time. And research on topics on demand.
- Create and maintain models for economic indicators and FX of ASEAN economies.
- Conduct seminars and client visits assigned by Sales and Trader to share our research views and help engage clients
- Build effective relationships with key customers to deliver a high quality of customer experience.
- Work in partnership with sales, traders and relationship managers across the region to respond to customers’ queries pertaining to markets and economic performances, through company visits and seminars.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both internally with MUFG and externally
- Be a strong team player, work actively and closely with other teammates in Asia GMR team.
- Be flexible and supportive with the new research initiatives, and research topics on demand.
- Support, coach and guide junior team members
- Support in managing the risk profile for the department.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
- Adhere to all company policies / guidelines

**Job requirements**:

- Bachelor qualifications in Economics or Finance
- Minimum 8 years of FX experience within the financial industry
- Strong analytical abilities both qualitative and quantitative and the ability to present well to customers
- Effective writing and research skills
