**_Key Responsibilities _**:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive transportation and logisitcs strategies, optimizing delivery routes and schedules.

2. Manage relationship with carriers (ie trucking comapnies, freight forwarders) to negotiate competitive rates and service agreements.

3. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards, particularly, in handling hazardous materials.

4. Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and shipping of chemicals products.

5. Manage a team of logistics personnel, including scheduling, training and performance evaluation.

6. Analyze transportaion data to identify areas for improvement and cost containment.

7. Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve logistics efficiency.

**_Requirements:

- **

1. Formal training (degree or diploma) in Supply Chain Managment, Logistics or related field.

2. MInimum of 5 years' experience in transportation and logistics management.

3. Strong undersrtanding of transportation regulations and safety requirements for handling hazardous materials.

4. Excellent organizational problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners and regulatory agencies.
