DESIGNATION : Senior Production & Planning Analyst (SAP), IT Applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

The BA Analyst is the primary contact in REC IT for SAP S/4HANA functional areas and its related integrations. This person is responsible to provide solutions for business needs & support day-to-day operations. It requires to work closely with other SAP Analysts & 3rd party vendors to propose solutions and align steps before execution.

A successful IT BA Analyst must have at least 3 years SAP (or other similar tools) experience in project implementation or in a support role in an end user environment.

Business Analysis & Support
- Ensure day-to-day activities, projects / change requests are done in compliance with REC IT Control Policies & Procedures.
- Liaise with key users and Business Process Owners (BPO) to identify pain points and problem areas that require IT solution. Then capture specific requirements, propose cost effective solution, coordinate activities and implement.
- Prepare and maintain up to date business process flows, configuration documents, technical / functional specifications, test scenarios / case creation, conduct user acceptance testing & roll-out solutions.
- Establish rapport with end users from different departments, other IT members, and vendors to meet targets & KPIs.
- Submit required documents and reports as and when required.

- Is attentive to details and has good analytical skills to understand a wide net of interdependencies to be able to identify, clearly articulate, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Empathise with end users in their needs while also able to manage and align business requirements and IT goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business related with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Well-developed understanding and working experience on SAP (or any other ERP) modules such as PPE (Production Planning & Execution), MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and TM (Transportation Management).
- Experience in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is preferred but not required, or experience in any other planning tool for Supply Chain Planning such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Netsuite, IBM, etc. will also be considered.
- Must be able to do basic configurations in SAP or whichever applicable ERP / planning tool.
- General knowledge in business processes associated with the use of SAP and comfortable with manufacturing business terms and concepts.
- Experience in Windows Environment, Visio, Power BI, and other document management / reporting tools.
- Integration experience with other legacy or 3rd party systems.
- Flexibility to meet company timelines and objectives.
- Self-starter that can thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Have a good sense of ownership.
- Good communication skills and ability to present in small to medium group settings.

OTHER INFORMATION

Additional advantageous skills:

- Experience in operating an ERP System with integration to an MES System in a 24x7x365 manufacturing environment.
- Preferably at least one full cycle project implementation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in SAP PO, LSMW, ABAP Query, ALV Reports and iDocs.
- Experience specific to S/4HANA environment and FICO area is advantageous
