**Description**:

- Ensure the respective Project contractor conducts conditions survey of all areas affected by the works, prior to commencement of works. The Site Supervisors shall ensure that the conditions survey photographs capture all existing M&E services in the affected areas. The Site Supervisors shall check the existing condition of the M&E services and highlight any issues which require attention to the Site Project Coordinator and HDB e.g., deviation between drawings and
- actual installation, site constraints etc.
- Work with the respective Project contractor to assess any potential service disruption due to the M&E works. The Site Supervisors shall ensure that the Overall Site Project Coordinator, Site Project Coordinators and HDB are informed of such potential disruptions in a timely manner, so that affected residents/ non-residential tenants/ agencies/ public can be notified in advance.
- Ensure that the respective Project contractor updates and submits the status of the shop drawing submission and approval records weekly. The Site Project Coordinators shall send reminder to respective Site Supervisors if there is any overdue submission pending their response.
- Monitor progress of work against schedule and inform HDB when there is delay or progress is behind schedule.
- Co-ordinate with services providers to lay cables / pipework in time to ease construction work (if applicable).
- When applicable, conduct visual inspection on:

- missing fittings and accessories
- alignment of PVC/ metal trunking/ conduit
- conduit routing, joints and connections
- other aesthetic workmanship problems
- Supervise sanitary, water, fire hose reel and gas installation and termination work, including water piping work.
- Inform the HDB on any discrepancies/ problems / irregularities.
- Provide feedback on defects and ensure that defects identified are satisfactorily rectified by the Project contractors.
- To maintain the consistency of the quality, the Site Project Coordinators shall work out the schedule together with the Project contractor on the list of items that require Works Demonstration and witness the demonstration conducted by Project contractor and their respective specialist as per contract requirement.
- Ensure the testing & commissioning procedure carried out correctly by the Project contractor and their Specialist.
- Record and endorse all in-process testing and commissioning has been carried out with signature and date.
- To file the duplicate copy of the signed document in the site filing system.

**Requirement**:

- At least **3 years **relevant working experience in the supervision of **M&E **aspect of works;
- Accredited as **Resident Technical Officers **with The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES);
- Proficient in using Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint;
