We also serve vulnerable seniors in selected areas in Singapore through Community Case Management Services (CCMS), CREST mental health support, and a sheltered senior group home. In addition, we run a family medicine clinic. Our purpose is to achieve health for life'; enabling healthy and fulfilling years by being a trusted partner of seniors and their families in our community. DESIGNATION : Associate, Procurement RESPONSIBILITIES The Procurement Associate will be involved in the procurement and purchasing function for all goods and services essential to our day-to-day operations to support our business units (BUs). In addition, the incumbent will be assigned a category to support all BUs. He/She will have to negotiate with vendors to secure the best value and timely supply of goods and services in compliance with our procurement policy for all purchases. - Execute daily purchasing and procurement activities for the business unit - Act as the main contact and a business partner to assigned BU to support all purchases liaising with vendors and requesters on purchasing matters - ‘Superuser' for Purchasing's system maintenance, enhancement, testing and troubleshooting - Main point of contact for all Procurement related automation for execution and maintenance - Maintain databases and keep track of all records pertaining to purchases, contracts, and tenders - Experience in clinical and medical materials, capital equipment, and servicing and maintenance is preferred - Support other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - Recognised Degree/ Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing and procurement; preferably in health and community care - Knowledge of eProcurement System in SAP - Possesses strong negotiation and communication skills - Strong interpersonal and people management skills - Team player and willingness to learn and adapt to changes - Self-driven and problem solver OTHER INFORMATION This is in partnership with the Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd ("e2i"). e2i is the empowering network for workers and employers seeking employment and employability solutions. e2i serves as a bridge between workers and employers, connecting with workers to offer job security through job-matching, career guidance and skills upgrading services, and partnering employers to address their manpower needs through recruitment, training, and job redesign solutions. e2i is a tripartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress set up to support nation-wide manpower and skills upgrading initiatives.
