**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and co-ordinate all donor-funded and non-donor funded lectures, conferences and seminars under WKWC. This includes working with Manager (Partnerships and Engagement) to:
- Plan with the faculty and/or donors the engagement schedule for the Academic Year.
- Manage key operations and logistics to organize the lectures, conferences and seminars such as setting up of venue and facilities, catering, collaborate with vendor(s) for promotion materials and/or event management, corresponding with speaker(s) and managing travel plans for overseas speakers, if required, upload WKWC endowed lectures in Mediacast.
- Manage the Wee Kim Wee Room maintenance and upkeep, including the visitor log and assist with room bookings.
- Support the organization of College events, including PSR activities and CIS outreach and admissions events, with responsibilities spanning the handling of logístical requirements, engagement and management of student ambassadors, and liaison with other SMU offices or vendors.
- Support the CIS Academic Programme team with operational matters, including data entry, extraction and collation, engagement of student assistants, faculty support including booking of rooms/facilities as well as administration of admissions interviews and exam invigilation, amongst other tasks.
- Any other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A university degree or diploma, with at least 6 years of relevant work experience in a higher education programme delivery and event planning/management role.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff and students.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a meticulous nature and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Is a creative problem solver, has initiative and is resourceful.
- Strong work ethic.
