Regional Sourcing Lead

**What this job involves**:
Strategy formulation with an eye on finances
In this dedicated account based role, as a senior member of a large and geographically dispersed region, you will create and execute region-wide sourcing strategies for expense and capital spend. You will be expected to identify hard savings and cost avoidance opportunities, whilst ensuring seamless interaction with all supporting functions. You will support the account’s global and regional sourcing programs, and be responsible for the administration of the Strategic Sourcing Audit program to ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle’s, and the client’s, contracting practices and standards. You will identify risks and take necessary measures to mitigate, through the implementation of effective sourcing strategies and contractual management.

Planning, leading, executing
You will develop and implement an annual sourcing plan. As the regional strategic sourcing lead, you will manage the sourcing team, develop close alignment with the client liaison, support project managers and the operation site teams for capital-related projects, build and manage relationships with key suppliers. Occasional overseas trip may be required.

A multi-skilled & experienced
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual, with a minimum of ten year’s professional experience in a similar purchasing / procurement based role. The individual should be multi-talented, with strong negotiation and organizational skills and demonstrable analytical abilities. Past experience in real estate would be preferred.

Proficient in tech & human language
A degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering is highly desirable, though not essential. It is necessary to have proficiency in Office tools, with expertise in Excel. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a necessity; proficiency in other languages would be an advantage (particularly Chinese).

Result oriented
Your primary performance metrics will comprise of delivering sourcing strategy, contributions to cost savings, audit performance and contract compliance.
