**The Company**

Due to business expansion, we are actively recruiting for a Financial Controller to be based in Singapore.

**The Role**

Reporting to the COO and leading a small team, you will be responsible for guiding the finance organization to ensure efficiency, compliance and improve quality of service & reporting and oversee the budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will also be responsible for supporting external audit with statutory compliance, and support and appraise commercial opportunities and any future development opportunities. Work closely with the Financial Controller, General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing and department heads to provide regular reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chairman and committees on progress and results against the corporate strategy, long-term strategic plan and annual business plan. Be a key member of the management team, providing recommendations to enhance business performance, evaluating profit opportunities, and managing costs. Provide leadership for continuous evaluation of short
- and long-term strategic financial objectives as well as supporting analysis of commercial opportunities that arise. Evaluate and advise on the impact of potential new strategies and any changes to the commercial and regulatory environment. Provide representation and liaise with External Audit, Tax and Legal Advisors as required. Liaise with Company Secretary and support in the execution of company secretarial duties.

**Your Profile**

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry. This role requires hands-on experience in Excel, financial modelling and good understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements in the hospitality industry. We are looking for a finance leader who possess commercial acumen and is detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
