**Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results**:
To support APAC valuation tasks, including:

- ** Valuation of Insurance Technical Liabilities**: Assist with valuation under US GAAP and SG RBC 2 standards.
- ** Reserving Compliance**: Ensure reserving processes align with actuarial policies, guidance, and local regulatory requirements
- ** Process Enhancement**: Automate and modernize valuation models and controls to deliver timely and accurate monthly reserve reporting.
- ** Reserve Adequacy Monitoring**: Track reserve adequacy, provide insights on key drivers, and reconcile profitability views across reserving, pricing, and planning teams.
- ** Financial Condition Reporting**: Contribute to ORSA, IWST, Actuarial Investigation Reports, and other actuarial-focused returns.
- ** Stakeholder Presentations**: Manage result presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including analysis and commentary on key metrics.
- ** Cross-Functional Support**: Collaborate with other teams on reserving, business initiatives, strategic projects, and decision-making processes as needed.

**Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field of study
- Associate in the Society of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries, or comparable actuarial designation preferred
- Understanding in health insurance, health claim process, healthcare systems is a plus.
- 3+ years of actuarial experience, with knowledge of the Actuarial functions (Valuation or Pricing) and operating models
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
- Strong proficiency in Programming (macro), Microsoft (Excel, Access, Powerpoint etc.), Alterlyx, AWS, ResQ, SQL and Tableau preferred

**Personal Competencies Required**:

- With knowledge of Actuarial functions (Valuation or Pricing) and operating models
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, applied to insurance and finance data domains
- Fast learner. Be able to pick up tasks assigned in fast turn-around time, timely and accurately, in order to spot out and escalate critical issues to be discussed throughout the whole process.
