Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can: - Work with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure you have a clear view of what is required to achieve results, and take action and responsibility to deliver it - Supervise and assign daily task to Room Attendants - Utilizing the relevant housekeeping assigned technology and tools, responsible for taking calls from hotel guests and/or other departments and ensuring that their requests are handled as soon as possible by dispatching job orders to the respective colleagues / department. - Maintains inventory and attendance records. - Responsible for liaising with Front Office in blocking rooms for defects and maintenance work. - Handle general housekeeping / facilities enquiries. - Maintain effective record and filling systems; completing all administrative reports accurately and in a timely manner. - Generate various operational reports for the coordination of the Housekeeping and Engineering Department. - To keep accurate records for laundry. - Anticipate guest needs, handle guest enquires, and solve problems. - Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests. - Maintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotels in order to recognize and respond to guests needs. - Carries the responsibilities of managing lost & found records. - Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly. - Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers. - Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines. - Advocate of IHG way of clean and ensure team members are compliant in the standards - Inspection of guest rooms and using Rizepoint to meet monthly targets - Minimum Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years’ housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and including supervisory experience or training. - Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; -Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. -Able to speak, read and write English. -Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. -Possesses organizational and training abilities In return for your hard work, you can look forward to a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including - Meal Allowance - Birthday Off - Medical Benefits - Dental Benefits - Insurance Coverage - 25-50% F&B Discount at restaurants within IHG Singapore Hotels - Special Employee Rate at all IHG Hotels worldwide - Room to Grow Opportunities " What we need from you "At Hotel Indigo® and Holiday Inn Express our team members are full of neighbourhood knowledge; they know where to find the hidden gems worth exploring.
